Ngāi Tahu Tourism has appointed Jolanda Cave to a new executive role that will provide leadership to its jet boat businesses.

Ms Cave is taking on the role of General Manager Jet Boat Operations, based in Queenstown.

“Since joining Ngāi Tahu Tourism in 2016, Ms Cave has made a significant contribution to our business both initially in her role as Business Manager for Shotover Jet and more recently as Acting

Regional General Manager,” Chief Executive Quinton Hall says.

“Our te whānau tāpoi (team) who have had the pleasure of working closely with Jolanda, know her as a passionate leader who possesses significant commercial and operational skills,” Mr Hall says.

Ms Cave will provide executive leadership to Hukafalls Jet in Taupō, Dart River Adventures in Glenorchy, and Shotover Jet and Central Maintenance in Queenstown.

As General Manager Jet Boat Operations, Ms Cave will be responsible for the safety, values and commercial performance of those businesses.

Before joining Ngāi Tahu Tourism as the Business Manager for Shotover Jet, Ms Cave was based in Auckland at Tourism Holdings Ltd where she was Operations Manager for Kiwi Experience.

She has a wealth of experience in the domestic and international tourism industry, holding senior roles in both inbound and outbound tourism sectors as well as working for several years in the cruise sector.
